This fascinating walking tour explores Savannah's architectural history and includes admission to two of our most beautiful and architecturally significant Antebellum homes - The Owens-Thomas House (c.1819) and The Davenport House (c.1820).

Topics include Oglethorpe's original design of Savannah's elegant squares, factors such as climate and building materials which have affected construction design, sources of the wealth which made such grand living possible, biographical anecdotes about colorful personalities, the flora which make gardens here a living treasure for much of the year -- and, of course, dynamics of the contemporary real estate scene.

The Savannah Homes & History Tour is a rich experience which will deepen any guest's appreciation for one of America's most beautiful cities and its dwellings. Our tour lasts approximately two hours and total walking distance is approximately one mile at an easy stop-and-go pace.
